Do you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?

Yes, when booking there is a section for dietary restrictions that you can fill out accordingly and we will do our best to accommodate you.   Please note:  if we are not advised; a minimum of 3 days before your tour, we cannot guarantee your request.

Can I book a custom tour?

We love doing custom tours, team building, and private events.  Please call 416-587-7395 or email customerservice@forfoodiessake.com to start planning now.  

What is your refund policy?

All tickets are non-refundable. However you may reschedule for another date, up to 4 days before the tour.  Should you wish to transfer your ticket to another person, you may do so by notifying us in writing before the date of the tour. 

If for any reason a scheduled tour is cancelled by For Foodies Sake, a full refund or credit will be issued.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Is it secure to enter my credit card number on your site?

Yes.  Our site is protected by SSL

Do you require a minimum number of attendees for your tour to run?

As long as we have a minimum of 4 people, the tour will take place.

How long are your tours?

Each tour will vary; however, on average they will run between 3 to 4 hours.  Please see tour descriptions for exact running times.

What should I wear/bring with me?

Please make sure to dress for the weather as the tour will take place rain, snow or shine.  Comfortable shoes are necessary as we will be walking between restaurants.  Don’t forget to pack your camera to capture the moments.

Why should I do a food tour?

If you like learning about the culture and food in a city, enjoy tasting delicious treats, like to meet new people and crave a fun experience, then you should definitely come check it out.

How much food will be served?

We will be visiting 4 to 5 restaurants on each tour (unless otherwise stated) with a sampling of 5 to 8 dishes, so you will not walk away hungry. Come join us and bring your appetite. You will not be disappointed.

What if I’m late for the tour?

The tours begin promptly at the specified time, so if you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible and we will let you know where to meet up with us.  However, we will not refund any missed stops.

Are gratuities included in your tours?

Gratuities are not included in the price of our tours. Although tips are not mandatory, they are greatly appreciated by our tours guides. Standard recommended tours in Toronto are usually 15 to 20%.

Can I bring my child with me on the tour?

Children are welcome to join us on the tour. Infants up to the age of 3 will not require a ticket* if they are sampling from  your portion; however, we will need to know in advance that they will be attending so that we can be fully prepared.  If you would like them to have their own portion then you will need to purchase a ticket.

Children ages 4 and up, will be required to purchase a ticket. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

*This is for food only tours.  If there is an attraction (theatre, aquarium, etc) involved in the tour then you will need to purchase a ticket so we can be sure to have the proper numbers and attraction tickets.

Are pets allowed on your tours?

Although we love our furry friends, unfortunately due to food safety and sanitary reasons, pets are not permitted in the restaurants and/or on the tour.   The only exception will be of course for service animals.
